Hey! Any help would be great!
I just got my call yesterday and I am super excited! I have been talking to some of my friends and I have been told that it must not have been long ago that it was opened up to Sister Missionaries. I am wondering if you know how long ago it was opened to the Sisters?
Also, are there many sister missionaries in Bulgaria?

There were sisters there when I served in '99-'00 (and as far as I know, they'd already been there for a while). So I'm not sure what your friends were referring to.

There were about 15-20 sisters then if I remember correctly.

1992, possibly 1991.  But '92 for sure.

Regardless, sister missionaries are invaluable and rare.  Your contribution will be greatly needed and appreciated.

Sisters have been there almost since the beginning of the mission.  I went in 95-96, Laryssa Wilhem, Misty Durfee and myself (the crazy three in the MTC -- no really we were) were sisters 14, 15 and 16 called to the mission.

It was really great though having a small number of sisters.  We all really got to be great friends and very close.  I count the sisters I served with as my greatest friends.
