Passing of Sister Pashinova
«

I'm sad to report that I've been told that Sister Pashinova passed away yesterday. I don't have any details other than that, but I do know that she had been suffering from an illness for five or six years. Because of her very strong faith and discipline, she outlived the doctors' prognosis of only one year.
For those of you that don't know, Sister Pashinova was one of the earliest members in Bulgaria. She loved the Church and the Gospel. An opera singer, she was instrumental in the translation of the hymns into Bulgarian. She was always ready with a smile and hospitality. She will be greatly missed.

Thank you for passing on the information. As I stumbled on the message a rush of great memories teaching that wonderful and classy lady in Geo Milev with Elder Klint Butler. Of particular "note" was at her baptism which was in an underground swimming pool in a sport facility. She was so overcome by the spirit and belted out a "Hallelulia" as only a classical soloist can-loud! She went on to help publish many of the songs members appreciate. A lovely lady.
