K, so late at night there was this goofy movie called Bridge of Dragons. As my husband and I have a strange sense of humor...we kept watching it, and mocking. I suddenly realized that I recognized the sights. Yeah...it was filmed in Sofia. Hilarious! It was fun to point out the buildings I knew, and it was fun to see the streets that I knew so well in such a terribly silly B movie. Actually, it's probably more like a D movie. So, if you haven't seen it, find it...you'll get a few giggles out of it. Smiley Abbie Nelson

Thanks for sharing this... I'll have to keep my eyes open for that movie.

Sofia actually has a thriving B-Movie industry.  Tons of Jean Claude Van Dam movies are filmed here.

Continuing in the same vein, if you want to see a wonderfully awful movie filmed in Sofia (and if you're a Bruce Campbell fan), check out "The Man with a Screaming Brain".  It more fun to watch where they are than what their doing.

Just another movie related note:

Just watched the trailer for Hitman which should be in theaters in October.

http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox/hitman/

Trailer B hit me like a ton of bricks.  See if you can see why....

ps.  if you have trouble getting it to start, the buttons seem to be all black.  Not sure if this is on purpose or not.  Just hover your mouse under "View Trailer" and click till you get it.

Nice to see a bit of Sofia there. Seems the main actor is a bit young to playing agent 47. I was thinking somewhere around 35-45 when playing the games.

To be fair, Timothy Olyphant, who is playing Agent 47 is 39.  You may recognize him as the villain in Live Free or Die Hard.  He just looks young.  Maybe its the Cue Ball factor.

Hmmm...that's not a bad idea.  I could take off ten years if I took off all my hair....

Yeah, I don't know about Timothy Olyphant; seems Agent 47 was a bit more professional that what I have seen of him in the movie trailers. Nevertheless, I'm hoping there won't be too many plot holes. For those that haven't played the Hitman series, it's really good. A real thinking shooter; who knew that setting up hits could be so fun? Perhaps the Mafia were on to something Smiley
