You will use a Bulgarian protestant translation.  It's ok, there are some errors in it, so make sure to check the verses you want to use before you use them to make sure they are doctrinaly correct!

You will be given all of your missionary supplies in the MTC, on the first day.  You'll have a big binder full of your schedule and other MTC stuff, Preach My Gospel, Bulgarian Scriputres and Bulgarian language books.

It'll all be in Bulgarian, of course. Why would you need anything in English? Tongue

Actually, your scriptures will be in Bulgarian, but the generic MTC missionary stuff is all in English. When I was in the MTC, we received two copies of the discussions, one in English and the other in Bulgarian. I don't know now if they have Preach My Gospel in Bulgarian though...

Preach My Gospel is in Bulgarian.  I have copies of it here.  I assume the give that to the missionaries in the MTC, but I can't confirm that.

I would imagine they would give the newbies a copy of both in the MTC.  I remember starting out with the first discussion right away.  I realize now they discourage missionaries from memorizing the discussions, but I know it was a good way to learn the language for me.

I just checked with the missionaries here and they told me that they get it in Bulgarian,  which makes sense.

Learn it well so you can hit the ground running.  Smiley

I don't think there is an audio version of the Bulgarian Book of Mormon.  If there is it would be on lds.org in the scriputre section.

Yes.  Bulgaria.   Grin

Actually, some of the members were considering producing an audio version by reading the Book of Mormon to their computers.  This, unfortunately, never materialized.
