I guess I couldnt help but feel depressed when seeing no Partridge reunion posted anywhere.  Brinton and I planned one a couple of years ago at a park in SLC and it turned out well.  I made plenty of Musaka and provided some great tunes.  It was great to talk to "Bivshi" Elders and Sister as well as their growing families.  I realize that it is too late for a reunion to coincide with General Conference for this April, but I am willing to help put one together for this Summer or Fall.  The last Year or so I have been tied up with work, new additions to the family, and other matters. I am now ready to push forward with a date, time, and place.  Let me know if you are interested and we will get things under way.  Ideally we could do it at some park again in Salt Lake or nearby area.  Lots of food and games for the families.

We've always had to do our own reunions for the simple fact that the Partridges live far away and are now on the older side of things.  And any attempt to form a reunion committee failed miserably.

I know for a while Marie Condie tried to plan reunions and was really critisized by some in attendence who did nothing but show up. Which was very unfortunate, because she did some excellent work.  I don't blame her for quitting.

Anway, I think if people want a reunion, they just need to decide to do it.  The reunion was fun a few summers ago, and I think the way we did it was nice and easy.  For those of you that didn't attend, we decided on a date, time and place and everyone brought their own food.  There was a little play ground for kids and a park to run around in.  No need to find a church, dress up and have a program.

I think if people wanted to plan something they should.  We're not coming to Utah this summer, so I'm excusing myself from this go around.

Tobler, you should contact people in the area to see if they would be willing to help.  I know there were alot of guys...Funk, Bee, Cox, Josh who's last name escapes me, but I think he lives in Ogden,  anyway...my mind escapes me right now....I'll put a message out on the facebook groups and see if anyone is interested.

Thanks Joyce.  Great to hear from you.  Sorry that you wont be able to make it this year.  Yeah, how can I forget Josh.  Russell is the last name.  We were in an threesome with Westover while in the MTC.
By the way, if you are looking to meet and talk to some Bulgarians, try going on a cruise.  My family and I just returned from a 7 night Disney Cruise.  I made some terrific contacts.  Of course not the main reason to go on a vacation like a cruise, but it was nice to hear someone speaking it in "chist bulgarski" even if it was in the middle of the caribbean.  Man I miss Bulgaria and the people.  My wife and I are anticipating going in the next five years when the kids are a little older.
I will see what I can do to try and get something organized with those who are still local to Utah.

If someone can contact the Partridges, a great idea (on a grand scale) would be to do a reunion in Nauvoo.  I just spent the weekend there with my family and it's always good to go back.  It is the closest place to Utah that I can find in the Midwest.  I last saw Sis. Partridge at the Nauvoo Temple Open House.  I don't know how long it would take to plan such an event here, but there certainly are substantial accomodations for large groups and plenty of activities for all ages.  The busiest time is during the summer, especially July with the Nauvoo Pageant.

Is anyone interested in a Nauvoo Partridge Reunion?  Perhaps you can poll the audience at your next Utah Reunion.
