The Bulgaria Sofia Mission alumni web site will be celebrating it's third birthday on July 15th, 2008! Thank you to everyone who has registered as a BSM alumnus and/or has contributed to the site with your stories, recipes, photos, and forum postings. It's our vision to provide a useful tool for us to stay connected to each other and to our beloved country—and it wouldn't be possible without all of your help.

This web site was developed by three Bulgarian RMs: Joel Conte, Richard Davies, and Chad Rawlinson. On July 15th it will be time to renew our annual web hosting account. It costs $130 a year to host this website and we have been funding it completely out of our own pockets. To ease the burden on the three of us, we would again like to ask for your help…

I'd also like to add that we have around 150 alumni registered with the web site. If everyone donated just $1.00 we'd have it covered! (If total donations exceed our annual hosting bill, the excess amount will be carried over towards next year's bill.)

So what do you think... can you spare $1? Of course, it's probably highly optimistic of us to think that we can get every one to donate even $1. For those of you who are "extra wealthy"  and who could forgo a hamburger... a $5 donation would help cover for those who don't donate.

So please consider donating, even if it's only a few dollars. If everyone donates, it will add up very quickly!

The donations are starting to roll in! We've already received donations from several of you and are greatly thankful for your generosity.
