Hi all...

Sadly, I found out thru the grapevine this morning that Sister Ester Hebrew  passed away Sept 4th.   I know for many of us Sister Hebrew was a favorite friend and the one who lovingly gave us our gamma shots every few months.  She was also loved by the Bulgarians as well.

At the time I received this news (early, early Monday morning) no one had any details for a funeral/viewing etc.  If anyone does find out information, please post it here, and pass it along to people.

I know Sis Hebrew will be much missed on earth, but I can't help but smile at the reunion she's having on the other side with her husband.

I m very sorry about my address and name, but i don,t know what to write and this is my good friend. In finish my mission I have many appointments in Sofia. I think is good boy and i think is eternal my friend. Many time I see and remember about my mission. I serve in 1996-1998 and my mission we to be togever in Vanna to 7 month and Sofia 4-5 month. Brian have com elder O.o.koan in Sofia and Vanna elder Dijon's, elder Perry and other missionary to not remember. I think he serve elder Go inc and many com. We have many splits and storyboarding and tract togever. I think God love Brian and your family. I know is very hard sition  but you need of help. Every day i pray about your family to help God. I love Brian this is my brother and not happens and i know God have plan of you family. I know this plan is plan of Hapines we most to have more prays and filing about God and Brian, who what to be happy. This is hard time and one day you to be togever with Brian. I know this and i think God to help to be in Brian togever.

I m sorry my English is hard to writing because i m Bulgarian. I want to spoke about Brian hi is very good my friend, and missionary and my brother. I love him. I dint know what to write. But i write many think is my mission and we are serve one aria branch Vanna. In my family only i m member, and i have i hard mission, because not letters, not love my family and Brian to was my friend and wan day to write 1Th letters hi sad: You have letters. I was is very happines because not letters in my family. I read letters and i see I love elder Dimitri you are my Bulgarian brother. Elder Brian Whitaker. I want to spoke more in this letters but is very bad English. I know God help you and i want to give my love and my harts abut your Family and i know one day we to be with Brian. In my family have is very bad thinks and i know what to filing and Brian want to be happines. Ole God also. I know this is hard time but this day is to be togever and we have eternal happines. Това което мога да кажа е, че евангелието е било възстано-вено и че това е Църквата на Христос. Днес Бог ръководи чрез живи пророци и апосоли своята църква. Аз бях на мисия, както повечето от Вас и служих в Българска Софийска мисия в периода септемви 1996 до август 1998 година споделях тази истина в по-големите градове Пловдив, Пазарджик, Бургас, Сливен, Варна, Добрич и Плевен. Това, което мога да кажа, че тогава изпитах пълна радост от споделянето на Евангелието. Работил съм с много членове на БСМ и познавам доста от тях. В развити и не толкова развити клонове. С много болезнено чуство останах, когато не видях никаде името си на отслужилите мисионери. Днес аз не съм от активните членове и не съм на позиция, тъй като съм обременен с други дела и почти нямам време за Църквата. Имам свиде-телство, но бавно то угасва. Аз знам за Божествената истина, която Бог е възстановил, но не съм активен по обективни причини. Гледам болните си родители и нямам време. Понякога идвам в едно събрание, но бързо си тръгвам, тъй като нямам сили да остана до край. Обичам църквата, но не мога д асъм активен. Боли ме когато виждам намалените клонове и отпадането на активни членове. Днес аз съм пасивен, нямам позиций и  не искам, нямам желание да служа. Останаха ми само молитвата, четене и спазване на писанията. Аз обичам Бог и знам, че това е Църквата му, обичам сВ.писания и всеки ден чета о тях, моля се на него и се опитвам да Живея така, както ме учи Светият Дух. Моят съвет е да научим един език, който го научих от Мисията си и това беше Езика на Духа, имал съм най-различни беседи и този език ми е помогнал в най-критични моменти в мисията ми и в живота ми. Днес аз съм се далеч от този език на Духа. Този език се добива само по един начин и той е посочен от Св. писания и това е чрез Любов, прилагане и учене от писанията, както търпение и смирение и това което мога д акажа, когато имаме Любов към Бога и Ближните си тогава може да Бъдем ЕДНО с Бога и да владеем този език. В моята мисия аз се водих предимно от този език.Обичам всички ви и се моля за всеки един от Вас.

Im leaving for Utah this week, i report the 24th of March. So sounds like we have ALOT of work ahead of us then!

From what I've heard, they have cut back on the number of missionaries going to BG to about 60.  Many of the smaller cities have been closed and combined with with others.  You are very fortunate to be going at this time.

My info is second-hand.  Can anyone confirm/disprove?
